As many of you have probably noticed, site performance of //thephoeron.com/ has dwindled significantly since the introduction of the wordpress implementation—but that will shortly be resolved. Maybe you noticed the new HTML5 splash screen? That’s just a taste of what’s to come.
In other news, I also recently launched the new in-universe website for my novel #>PLACEHOLDER_ (which has been doing particularly well on the Kindle Store lately), set in an interactive BASH terminal from the SFS Fulgora. If you haven’t taken a peek into the mind of Konrad Schreiber yet, consider yourself warned.
//placeholder.me/ (Chrome or Safari recommended, some knowledge of BASH will also help with navigation)

Visitors from iPhones, iPads, Androids, Blackberry’s, and other mobile devices will be happy to know that a web app mode has finally been added to //thephoeron.com/ — if you have a smartphone or tablet, be sure to check out the latest features.
I’ll be working on the theme here and there, when I have time for it, so check back often for updates.

It’s been confirmed, I’ll be performing live on Friday, September 9th, 2011, at the Imperial Pub (Dundas Square, Toronto), with Schizoid and Nwodtlem. If that’s not exciting enough, you’ll also be able to pick up some fun Phoeron merchandise at the show.
I’ll be performing some new, unreleased material from my next album, so this is an event you won’t want to miss!

I’ve introduced a page-flip style book preview plugin here on //thephoeron.com/, as a shiny preview feature for my published works. So now you can enjoy the book samples as they were meant to be displayed.
For starters, I’ve added a 100-and-something page preview of my sci-fi novel Placeholder. Drop by the book info page and click the link under ‘Book Preview’ to check it out—the book opens in a new window (Flash required).
Check back soon for previews of Kettle Creek (the next novel in the SPQS Universe), Lost Writings of a Dead Man, Dreaming (my upcoming poetry, lyric, and art collection from D-Trash Press), and first looks at my occult projects, The Phoeronikon, and Ars Goetia Phoeronitika.

Just wanted to announce another theme update for the site. Got bored with the flashy Mystique theme, thought something cleaner, darker, more minimalist would be better for the long run (although I plan to leave Mystique in place for my blog, The Depths of ABSU). And then I found Pyrmont V2. What does everyone think?
I’ll be doing some minor tweaking over the next few days—nothing major, just adjusting layouts and the like. If you find anything horrific, let me know in the comments below.

I’ve started importing the Grammar of Phoeronitic, for those of you interested in con-langs and such. It will be a while before I finish converting it for web display, but the ToC is already up for perusal. See Linguistics » Phoeronitic (con-lang) » Grammar of Phoeronitic (v1.01a) for more information.

//thephoeron.com/ may be a little messy over the weekend as a new template is implemented; hope you enjoy it.

Occult Classics Library
I’ve added an Occult Classics library to the Occultism section, featuring all the most important and timeless Hermetic, Rosicrucian, Astrological, and Ceremonial Magic texts from the Renaissance to the late Victorian age in PDF format, from 20th century occultist Benjamin Rowe’s online collection.
This should prove to be an invaluable resource to occultists and historians alike; many of these texts are quite rare and difficult (or expensive) to obtain in print; but thanks to the late Benjamin Rowe, they have been carefully re-typeset for home-printing and made freely available to all.
Enjoy.
